WHAT: Stop by our office (12 N. Meade Ave), from 4 pm to 6 pm, as we Turn Up the Heat to Protect Medicaid. We’ll enjoy chips and salsa, spicy chile, hot tamales candy, and more as we sign postcards to turn up the heat on Senator Gardner. Our aim is to protect Medicaid, protect services and promote access to healthcare. We will also collect any unopened cans of salsa, hot sauce, or anything else spicy, along with your personalized messages, to deliver to Senator Gardner’s Colorado Springs Office during the Turn Up the Heat to Protect Healthcare Rally on Tuesday, July 18, from 11 am – 1 pm, outside of Cory Gardner’s office in downtown Colorado Springs (corner of Colorado and Tejon).
