Our 57th gem is Joan Wermers. Joan was a longtime board member of The Arc Pikes Peak Region, serving multiple terms. Joan provided great leadership during a time of change for The Arc.
Joan works as a transition coordinator at BOCES and previously served as a transition coordinator at Widefield Schools.
Joan was actively involved in the Pikes Peak Interagency Transition Team.
