Our 58th gem is actually three gems: Dave Rodriguez, Paul Gonzales and Chris Mata (1949 -2012). Dave is a hosthome provider for both Paul and Chris. Together the three of them were like the “three amigos” forming powerful bonds. Dave has been the hosthome provider for Paul for 20 years and was Chris’s provider till his death. Dave built a strong level of trust with both Paul and Chris, always treating these two individuals with dignity and respect. Dave represents what a hosthome provider should be; Dave is constantly working to enrich Paul’s life. Paul receives guardianship services from The Arc Pikes Peak Region.
